Flynn's Cove, located on the north
west tip of Nootka Island, is situated on 239 acres of the few remaining privately owned
parcels of land in the area. With the full ocean exposure of Esperanza Inlet on the North
and Owassitsa Lake on the South, it is impossible to avoid the scenic beauty of this
isolated pocket of the Pacific Northwest Rainforest. This
historic property was homesteaded in the early 1900's and was the location of "Center
Island Post Office", one of the first post offices on the West Coast. Flynn's Cove
was also the focus of two books by author Bethine Flynn.
Presently we have two cabins available. Both are spacious with full kitchen and
bathroom facilities
While the avid fisherman of your group enjoys the hours out on the open ocean the other
member(s) can try kayaking, canoeing, rowing, hiking, exploring or just hanging out with
the view and a book.
So, whether you are an avid angler, an outdoor enthusiast in search
of extreme sport or a family looking for something for everyone, come and visit! |
